Henri De Toulouse-Lautrec
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864–1901) virtually invented the modern art poster. His vivid depictions of Parisian nightlife — the Moulin Rouge, the cabarets, the café-concerts — transformed commercial printing into high art and established the poster as a collectible medium for the first time. The works in this collection are among the most historically significant in the world of vintage French graphic art.
